Do you mount the trunk release switch next to the engine lid pull ? If so, how long a switch is needed to go through the fire wall and backpad ? Seems like there are better places to put it- what do you have ?

And, how is the emergency pull wire mounted to the solenoid? I don't see a place where there is going to be sufficient leverage
