I am regrettably selling my 1973 Porsche 914 Fuel Injection 2.0 because I need the cash.
The car started it's life with a 1.8 but now has a 2.0 engine courtesy of 914itis. The new engine runs very strong with 150 all around compression. The engine is a low number GA which belongs to a 73 and has the highest stock HP for a 914-4 along with 1974s. Of course you all know this already. No rust 2.0 heat exchangers were added and a NO RUST OEM banana exhaust was also installed. I will include a 914-6 chrome exhaust tip with the sale. The exhaust was supposedly only used for about a 1000 miles before it was put in storage and I believe it from the way it looks. The right side of the valance needs to be covered because I did have a dual exhaust Triad at one time. The OEM Leistritz banana exhaust has the best sound. You will NOT find another banana exhaust in this condition. Everyone that sees my car are just in awe with it's condition. The interior also looks brand new with no cracks on the dash and panels, including the seats and backpad. Both safety belts recline as they should and everything electrical component and lighting works. Even the safety belt inserts looks new. I also installed a JWest fog light kit so you can have the fog lights on during the day. Car has a rear window defroster and the deposit box also looks new. Center console pad also looks new. The interior dash lights are nice and bright, including the headlights and interior lights. The brake warning light also works. Wooden Porsche shift knob but I will also include it's original shift knob that also looks new. Brand new Alpine stereo with Alpine speakers installed in pods by the footwell. There is also a small Alpine amp under the dash. Brand new brake pads, rotors, calipers, and disc. Brand new 19mm brake master cylinder. Rebuilt pedal cluster. Brand new clutch cable. Recently tuned-up with oil change (Brad Penn Oil). The car runs like a champ and that 2.0 is something else. The car has been painted once (outside, not inside the door, engine, both trunks, or jams) in the 90s). No rust in the rocker panels. Only small rust scales under the battery tray, which POR-15 was applied. No rust on solid battery tray and no rust in rocker panel which is very solid too. As you can see in the photos, the car is simply beautiful. Oh yes, those are polished fuch rims. I am asking $11,500. PM me if you have any questions or need more photos.
