Its been a long process, but its here. The basis for a new historic racer. Its a 72 with a 2l with webers and side shifter. The motor will have to come back to about 1.8. Strangely, I can run either injection or carbs. It seems that when the 914 was originally homologated for historic racing nobody knew much.
I need a few parts, rear boot floor, rockers, front and rear valences, 2l injection - runners, throttle body and plenum, air cleaner, brain. Otherwise its better than expected. I will start pulling it apart over Easter. The plan is to send it out and get it dipped and see what comes back. Cheers, Attached thumbnail(s) |
