I've searched and searched, but cannot find a definitive answer. Is there an alternative to the factory clips that connect the upper and lower portions of the fresh air box? I somehow lost mine (despite my heroic efforts to bag/tag everything!). Below are some pics of what I did to accommodate a heat exchanger into my system...
I had to add an "annex" burp-out to house the 1994 Mustang V8 heater core (5/8" inlet and 3/4" outlet) to the Behr air box. I made this out of fiberglass, and added a "pie-cut" to the water shield. The next pic shows the "annex." Help? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |
