Please see the below info for the upcoming PCA Tehachapi run on June 17th

Not sure if this is limited to the LA Chapter or if it is open to all PCA members. There is an email link to the organizer on the registration page if anyone outside of the LA chapter would like to confirm.

So far I am the only 914 of 40 cars registered. Let's get some more teeners out there! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

The destination is the Tehachapi Loop.

We will meet up at the Vons in Valencia between 8:30 am and 9:00 am, have our driver’s meeting at 9:15 am, and start our run by 9:30 am. We will proceed northeast through the Angeles National Forest via San Francisquito Canyon Road eventually reaching Munoz Ranch Road which leads us into the Antelope Valley.

While in the neighborhood we will travel across the Musical Road.

On our way out of the Antelope Valley to Tehachapi, we will drive by the Willow Springs International Raceway. Continuing north, passing through many wind farms we will reach Tehachapi for lunch.

After lunch at about 1:30 pm a short drive will take us to the Tehachapi Loop. Parking is limited alongside the road. Here we will wait for a train to traverse the loop; unfortunately it is difficult to predict train schedules for the loop.

The return is on your own. Some will go back the way we came, others will use Highway 58, one of the nicer freeways, to leave the area. Head east to the 14 to the 5; head west to the 99 to the 5. Some may choose to remain overnight in Tehachapi, which has several good motels.

Registration for this event will open at 10am on May 31st. The regular $10 registration fee per auto is due upon registration.

Registration for this event will close on June 14th at noon.
