Got this idea from reading posts and solutions other members have found, while looking for my solution.

First I use just what was laying around.

Then I drilled out the pressure release ball and spring on the top of the oil filter mount. (Not the mount for my engine.)

Grabbed an oil filler neck with the large opening.

And used a piece of fuel vent hose in the bottom of a $10 breather

Put it all together

Cut and added 2 fuel tank, fuel line hose nipples. With a little epoxy.

Thinking this is gonna work real well

Need a good location to mount it

Locate my holes

Drill them out

And mount

Install filter

Good use for a Bosch filter

The breather can vent out the grill, or I could run hoses back to the carburetors

Close up

Use heat to bend in form fuel tank vent hose

Attached Image

Securing it while it cools

And it holds its shape

Need to get the hoses to the fuel line nipples

Couple rubber grommets

And they slide right in

Hoses attached, The diameter of these pieces all work together.

Venting location

All done
One hose attached to the filler neck, the other attached to the oil cover box below the filler.
And I ended up using another fuel nipple to a different oil filler without the large opening, it was too large for the hose to attach.

I have traveled 2500 miles with this set up, the amount below is from a 500 to 600 mile trip! A lot of moisture.
99% water that didn’t go in my engine.[size=4]
