Does anyone make D-jet wiring harnesses?
I am also wondering if my ECU is giving me problems. I just can't develop any power above about 3,500 rpm under load (such as going up a hill). I have replaced the throttle body (which improving things for a day), rebuilt the MPS (minor improvement). Valves checked, points and timing checked. Fuel filter replaced. Fuel pressure checked. Throttle body rechecked and readjusted. The engine is a 1911 in a 1971 1.7l and ran fine after the rebuilt (had to be careful not to overrev it in the break in period). Now I can't get it to go above 4,000 rpm underload. It seems like the last 2 suspects would be the wiring harness and ECU. Does anyone have a working ECU that I could "borrow" to see if my ECU is bad. Or does someone have a tester that could be rented to test the unit. Any suggestions? Thank you. |
