a 74 1.8 has shown up in my town down here in north antarctica (aus).
one for you to enter into Vin Register.
i checked its not on register yet.

VIN 4742913889
Production Plate # (0) 629562.

pretty intact in a lot of ways checking the photos.
L jet EFI all still onboard.
engine number is in range to be original engine with Vin number.
was originally light blue, now yellow.
looks like it was imported into aus only last year.

knowing what goes on down here i'd say this little largely intact 1.8 will probably end up getting sixed by someone.

a guy i know drives a cayman has a mate who has just about finished building a GT tribute. i've been invited to come see it when its finished which is not too far off. will report on it when the time comes. alleged to be pretty good. i'll get the vin data on that if i can as well.
