It's time to move on from my '74 914 LE (although there's not much Creamsicle left). Car is a big 4, straight and very clean, other than a little surface rust in the rear of the rear trunk. To my knowledge, the repaint was done in the early 90's with the car taken to bare metal and finished in a custom color that I've called "Irish-ish". It's a similar tone to Irish Green, but a few shades darker & does some pretty cool shifting in different light. Paint is still in excellent condition, but could probably benefit from a correction, in my opinion.
The car is quick, fun, and well-sorted with a very recent rebuild by Hasselgren Engineering in Berkeley, CA. It is essentially turnkey, add driver & favorite windy backroads. The car is located in Napa, CA. I know, I know, low post count posting to sell. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Long time lurker while the engine was being rebuilt. Feel free to reach out with any questions or for a link to more pics and all the engine build details you could possibly want. A few of the NorCal folks saw this car at EASY yesterday. Despite the rule about not commenting on ads, I'd welcome any of them to share their honest opinions (good, bad, whatever) after seeing the car in person.
