Tapping the knowledge base here (no luck on the BMW boards).
I need help identifying my K&N air filter element on my 1975 BMW 2002 so I can get a replacement (versus cleaning). My car was rebuilt in 1989, so that year is the only clue I have to go on. No visible part number. Already contacted K&N guys - they have no clue. PO doesnt remember either. Not sure if it is an automotive type, or industrial, or marine type. Anyone have any ideas on how to identify this and find a replacement? Thanks...
