Installed a fresh set of Gt styled door panels on the teener over the weekend.
I got the confidence, following Aaron's thread,as he made it seeem soooo easy.Yeah right. Well Aaron, the recover went real well til I got up to the tuck & roll.It kicked my A@* so bad,I threw in the towel, and let a local upholster finish the job. I initially got 2 sets of door pulls to compare prices.Cheapest was from fiatparts.com 20 bucks for the pair. The leather door strap was made by a local leather guy,6 bucks for the pair. Finally, the bezel for the door strap I copied from AJ's site cause he actually has measurements for it.I lasered it here at work, and made a forming die to hammer it's shape. Not a lot in it,but at least it is finally done. Anyway,Aaron's thread is a really good one. Thanks for writing it. Ron Attached thumbnail(s) |
