Yes, it is true, the Mexican Sports Car Association is having the Tijuana Gran Prix on Nov 7, 8 and 9. There was one several years ago and in the feature race a NASCAR stock car battled a Porsche Turbo that probably was worth more than all the cars racing combined! And yes, the Turbo finally won. It is a NASA, run-what-you-brung type of event with TV and movie starlets, the TECATE girls and my friend Ted and my race cars. You will sign tons of autographs and be a hero for at least a couple of days. The course is on new streets in the "River Zone" just south of the border and headquarters at the Pueblo Amigo hotel.
