We all know (or you do now) that CV's are NLA for the 914. The Type 1 CV kits are roughly the same but require a tad bit of machining expertise.

Mike (of Mueller fame) and I are teaming up to offer the finished kits (machining and all). We have the first evaluation batch on the way to Mike's shop as we speak.

Target price is between $59.00 and $72.00 per kit (depends Meyle vs. Lobro), as we check for quality issues with each brand.

This will be a complete kit which, from our initial understanding, includes:

(1) CV Joint
(1) Boot
(1) Washer
(1) Clip
(1) Tube of Grease
(4) Bolts (possibly)

This will be a direct replacement to the original 914 CV. Spline counts, depth and size are identical. Machine work involves boring out two of the through holes to accept the 914 CV roll pins and installing those pins.
