...while letting in of the flare to the body, I noticed something, and I just have to mention it. When I saw that the section shape for the flare was not the same as the car, I knew a blend as in order but didn't know how far to take it. I have attached a simple example of each section, and a jpg file from Patrick Motorsports and how they handled it. In simple terms, their photo answered my question.
It just seems that everytime I get a warm and fuzzy, something puts hair in my soup. The sketch shows the section of the flare (in red) and the body section (in blue). My concern is the angle part of the section. There is enough material to form the channel. This is how Patrick Motorsports handled it... |
