I picked up one more today from Target. This one is a darker green than my others.

OK guys,
Yer doing a really crappy job of keeping me from stalking the small diecast cars in the stores. Went to Wallymart and Target, no joy. I'm doing my grocery shopping in Meijer and decide to head down to the toy department along the back wall. While I'm walking, this employee comes out and begins looking at the endcap facing the back wall. This is a place where I've never looked before so as I walk past the guy to look at the matchboxes, I see him checking out the small cars hanging there. He leaves and I stop. WTF, look at this ... A real 1:64 Porsche 356 @ $3.00 US. Frickin detail is awesome. And, here are a few more choices from Greenlight found at Kmart, Meijer, Toys R Us, Amazon, etc.... http://www.greenlighttoys.com/%5B~188~%5D Attached thumbnail(s) Attached image(s) |

Ken,
How many stops? I've done quite a few and found 4. Two 914's at one stop, and the others were one at a time at two other stores. Target is a big fat zero for 4 tries. Meijer is zero for 6 tries, and Biggs is zero for 6 tries. |

I have hit 3 different Targets, got three each at 2 of them and zip at the other one. Struck out at Walmart.

Ken, How many stops? I've done quite a few and found 4. Two 914's at one stop, and the others were one at a time at two other stores. Target is a big fat zero for 4 tries. This weekend's trip included 5 Walmarts and 2 Targets. One Target had nothing, but all the other places yielded at least one 914. I'm seeing both shades of green now as well. |

FINALLY! I scored 2 darker green 914s at TRU at a mall. I was going to the DMV, but I forgot it was a holiday. So, I decided to drive past the DMV and check out a TRU I saw on the way back from Root's shop. I also scored another powder blue convertible type 181 and a powder blue convertible ghia!

Evil,
Good score on the powder blue thing. Now you have another to go with the one from Meijers. Ghia convertible in powder blue is way cool too. Let me know if you find a British Racing Green or metallic blue Ghia convertible. Those were the colors on a Ghia convertible that I drove in college. Gawd I miss that car. 16-18 MPG, lumpy idle, and it layed rubber in two gears. |

I'm about 0 for 50 visits to Walmart, Target, TRU, Dollar Store, any other store which may have toys. I did score a new hot toy though ....NERF! My kids love the blasters. Oh and scored that White Audi R8 too.

Found a darker green (relatively speaking) 914 at Target in College Park today. I gave it to a co-worker who used to own a yellow 914 back in the day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
I'm also seeing the tan camouflage 181's all over the place, but no orange ones. |

On the way back from the DMV I scored two more at Kmart (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I also got another camo 181 (Scotty got me one already), and a 54 Jag (I had been looking for two of those). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
