Cool! I want white, and silver.

And orange of course.

Me too, and Bahia Red! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

I originally bought a small army of neon green 914s thinking I'd repaint them but it would be impossible to replicate the "914" badge painted on the back since it's barely 1MM in height! So instead I'll just wait for them to create a full line of colors!

Here's hoping for an all steel Lesney edition model for 2011! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Also, I bought one of the new dark green 914s the other day with a massive error, the whole bottom of the car was installed (poorly) and riveted backwards so it looks semi-wrecked while sealed in the package!!! Just comes to show a 914 really can be confused which end is the front and back! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I may post photos later; that also makes it a front engine, front wheel drive 914! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif)

Scotty, I have had good luck with Walmarts lately. I hit the Walmart in Charles Town, WV and the one in Rouzerville, PA (closest to home!) on Sunday and found 5 dark green 914s in each store.

Don't worry if you can't find any, I'll share.

Ken, I got the orange green-light 356. I am looking for the busses that they have, like the one you pictured if you see any more.

I am gonna have to get that blue 914. Too cool.

Took me a long time to acquire 10 of the light green 914's. I found my very first one back in Feb. and it was the lighter green color that was in the very back of the rack on the bottom row at a Target. It pays to be thorough!

Then I recently found 10 dark green 914's.... the same day... at 2 different Walmarts in Conroe and Tomball.

Guess I'll put them in storage with the zillion other 1/87th scale cars I have, that Nel claims will never, ever be displayed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I did recently score the Speed Racer and Racer X diecast cars at a dollar store.

I found 3 more dark green 914s at Walmart and 1 at Target today. The one at Target had fallen off the rack and was facing down. It does indeed pay to be thorough!

So who has a contact for Mattel. If they are willing to do a run of 450 units for a toy show then they should be willing to do a 914World edition of 1000 units. Or am I just crazy to think so.

I let it go when it hit $30. Too salty for a Matchbox car for me, especially when I have a whole fleet that I can paint any color I want. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
