Howabout early? Late caps can't be used on early?

I can do early just a matter of tooling. Right now I've expended my budget on tooing, but the beginning of this next year I should be able to revist them.

I honestly don't know where the cut off is on these. The note in the maintence manual I have seems to indicate the cut off may be 73-76 with 70-72 being the early style. Any one know definately?
