Anyone running one of the canton cartridge type oil filters?

Can this be your only filter on a full flow system.

Also, is it OK to mount the filter up front near the cooler instead of in the back?

Thanks,
dr

I bought one from Pegasus Racing when I was up in Milwaukee last year for Harley's 100th anniv.
I am designing the oiling sytem on my sixer to use it in the return line coming out of my oil cooler.I'm setting it up for -16 lines.
The Canton unit is rated @ 1 micron with no reduction in flow. It can't blow-out either.
I wanted one to catch any crap coming from the cooler before oil dumps back into the bag.I'll also keep the filter on the bag, plus the filter on the 3.6 engine. That'll be 3 filters I'll eventually have on my car.
I also bought one of their fuel filters,it's rated @ 4 microns for removal.
Now I'm just trying to hustle up some -16 fittings to finish it off.
Hope the pic give ya an idea.
