Cookies getting done......CHECK! Here's what I started with.... Finished! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (sorry, low quality cell camera pic) But still makes me very (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) to see these done! Polished so good it's like a mirror. A guy I found on Craigslist that normally does semi wheels. Charged $30 a wheel to polish....how could I say NO?! Can you pass his info on. I need the same thing, I got qouted 90.00 per wheel. Thanks, PM info if you can. Chris |

I added FINISHED photos to Post #2. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) I stole the idea of the a photo looking straight down on the car from member: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) ANDYREW. Epic view....Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) I am so happy with the color. It is tough to photograph and get the true impact of the paint, SILVER Rocks...just sayin.
Need to work out some 'bugs' with the car now; i.e. driver's inability to interpret the fuel gauge. DOH! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I ran out of gas the other day. However, it was cool to look into the tank to be reminded of the nice lining I did 3 years ago. Turn signal issues, dim taillight (passenger side), sensitive headlight flasher switch, faulty temp sending unit...etc. All relatively easy things to tweak or repair. The Dr.Evil tranny clinic shifting is amazing...even with a tail-shifter. The clutch cable requires several adjustments since it is new and still stretching. Oh yeah...modify the fiberglass rear valence to cover my 'ass end' and that Triad. Thanks Cairo94507 for the sale. Markb sold me some air deflectors that will help with cooling and air flow under the car once the valence is installed. Now if Seattle can get some decent weather where I can drive this car...PLEASE! |

Just arrived in the mail yesterday. I'll take it down to the body shop and we'll work on getting that thing installed! I can't wait too. It will clean some lines up in the back. Now if I can just get some SUN here in Seattle so I can take it for a drive! Mark, Congrats. We got plenty of Sun here in AZ - would you be interested in a trade? Agreed...got an extra one? I had picked up this Triad 3+ years ago. It's all I have, but I am thinking of a change. Just need to keep driving this one to see if it works for me. Does have a drone at 2600rpms... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Thanks James for posting some of your great work with the camera. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) |

Looks very nice Mark! Congrats (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
We saw you drive down Arcadia past Walker Park Rd in Shelton the other day and I could see from a distance that a very nice 914 was going by! I think you saw us, I was driving my green 73 1.7. I Had no idea about your build until I found this thread yesterday. Glad I know the whole story now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . Eric |

Eric Eric, Yea...you saw it on the weekend I just got it started. I'm still waiting for the nice weather to get some more seat time. I've also got some bugs to work out. We have a cabin there in Shelton. Down there more in the summer than winter. Will let you know when I bring the car down for a Shelton drive. Your car looked great! We all got excited when you pulled up to the stop sign and gave you a thumbs up. Mark |

Spent a cool fall evening with my daughter who loves riding in the SIX. We had a nice drive on some rural roads, but we just couldn't pass this milk shake drive inn.
