Can someone give me relatively educated information on value of non-numbered case engine ( I know condition matters) but I want it as it relates to value of a restored car.
That is, if the price of a nicely restored six = 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, what is the price of a non numbers matching and then a non numbered case. Thanks in advance for feedback. Addict off the wagon again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) |

Addict off the wagon again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) I have tried to quantify this but I see non-numbers matching cars fetching as much as numbers matching cars. Just to throw a number out there I would say $5k-$10k more with matching engine and trans that is why people charge $1500+ for otherwise useless 914/6 cases. I say useless because it cost as much to rebuild a 2.7L as it does a 2.0L and who would opt for less power. |

Hi all,
I'm looking for engine 6404756 or at least the case. Been able to determine that it was replaced with a 2.4 T motor in Canada, probably Calgary and most likely before 2008. Any info regarding this engine would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve |

FYI, I have 6404270 which has just completed a complete rebuild. I had thought for a very long time that this engine was original to my 9140430893, but PCNA tells me that it is not. Of course, they no longer tell you which is the right engine, just that this came out of some other car.
