Not too much progress today.. acutally a step back I suppose..
Took the dash back out because I didn't like the way the glove box door was working. I couldn't get it adjusted right while in the car so I took the whole thing out and diss-assembled it and put it back together.. works great now... I put the bolts/nuts for the rotors to hubs the wrong way when I first assembled it. There was no interference issues, but I wanted it set up properly. So I took the hub/rotors off and swaped the bolts around one by one. Bent my rear calliper to flex lines up and opened up the holes in the front 911T struts to accept the 914 flex lines and got those all in... Thats about it today.. bit of messing around making things proper. |

First round of filing the brake fluid and bleeding today.. still have more bleeding to go but the pedal has come up and the brake are functioning.. yay !
On the downside though I went to try out the front bumper on the car for the heck of it and found that one of the weld nuts came off.. Gonna have to weld that back on sometime I guess.. oh well.. |

Standard operating procedure for a full resto reassembly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif) Good luck welding the nut on the backside of the bracket. Had some self induced issues with one of my rear calipers that I had to fix and then rebuilt the half shafts over the past couple weekends.. Thanks to Chris Foley for getting the CV's up here quickly... Heres a pic of the half shafts in.. Along with the half shaft hanger that I borrowed from Peteyd ( I think its a tangerine racing product as well )

And here she sits ladies and gentlemen... Finally after 2.5 years of metal fab, welding, paint, all new suspension, and countless hours of swearing and figuring out... She sits on her own new shoes again..

I'm splicing in a front nose section from a spare harness I have.. Just checking the wires to make sure I don't get anything mixed up. Throw a blanket in the front trunk and it's pretty comfortable to sit in. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
