Same plans as last year plus the addition of doing a 6 conversion.
Good news is I have 3/4 of the parts and the lift is getting installed this week!!! Just need to start cleaning and selling off /4 parts to pay for the /6 conversion! |

Just finished building a 2432 stroker motor that should make close to 200HP and 200LbsFt of Torque, the latter from 3500 through 6000RPM. That should be entertaining. Need to fire it and break the cam in probably next week then dress it up with the SDS injection including crank fired ignition. Goal here is to have it well tuned and have some street seat time before the spring autocross and track days start. Thanks to Raby Aircooled Technology for the recipe and the parts to do this engine...
Next up, McMark will be welding on some steel flares and we will fit some Getty flared valances and rockers. Rear will be custom flared stock. This means I will be putting on my custom built RSR finish 8.5X16 rear and 7X16 front wheels with some Hoosier A6 shoes. Thanks to Weidman Wheels for making these up for me... Also this winter, a little more interior work. I have ordered door panels and carpet from 914AP in November and I hope it comes soon as I have some work to do on my doors and I want everything here when I do. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Rob - WOW. Can't wait to hop over to Sonoma and watch the progress.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) For sure this winter I will install new stereo, dash, and hopefully weld up rusty holes in floor pan and fix "leaks", repaint interior, and finish with new carpet. I have way more I am thinking about, but need to set sights low and keep goals realistic. Tired of "over thinking and under-doing" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
