So what are the advantages of this outside of the new style fuses? The one on my 75 is great. I am going to start on the wiring for my 72.

The advantage is the contact point of the fuse. Early German fuses are notorious for corrosion build up. Some times you can spin the fuse and make it work again. The ATC style fuse has a positive mechanical contact point. The stock spring copper mounting tabs for the fuse are exposed and can break. If you bump the stock panel with your leg, the fuses will fall out. This is bad while driving. There is higher resistance on the stock fuse panel, this can lead to excessive heat build up.

Thanks,

I'll look into it. I wish I could just look under my dash... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I don't have a real six, though.

Thanks for all of the responces - I will try to answer your questions

1< Yes you can pay by check.
2< Yes it will work on the 914-6 models.

I orginally made this for my car, others members saw it and thus the product was born. I hated knocking out the cover and fuses with my feet and I had some copper corrosion issues that needed to be addressed. I do include detailed installation instructions along with wire markers for the swap.

As far as timeline - expect it to take about a month after I have collected the fee. It may be sooner or a liltle later depending on when the parts arrive.

Thanks

Mark

Does it have spade connectors for the fuses on the topside like the factory version?

I gather those bigger holes are for the rubber relay sockets?

Any room for extra fuse circuits?

If so I will take one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)!

Plug and play - no sodering or wire cutting. Uses spade connectors.

The larger holes are indeed for the relays.

Thanks
