Here's the video from yesterday. Feel free to critique my poor line positioning, steering, and utter lack of aggression when following slower cars. It was actually cold and a little rainy but otherwise nice. I truly am sorry snowed in 914 guys and 914 on jack stands guys. I'd be pissed at me too!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I think I might be pissed at myself and I don't know why? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Yesterday was the cat's ass and the dog's bullocks! Now I'm like why can't everyday be that much fun?!... I woke up depressed that it was over. |

Now I'm like why can't everyday be that much fun?!... I woke up depressed that it was over. Excellent usage of "cat's ass" and "dog's bollocks". Note: it is bollocks and not bullocks. 5 point deduction. Sorry, but that's the way it is. Normally we could let that slide but . . I'm a little pissed at you too. I'm at the point where my girlfriend is pissed at me because I won't stop talking about cars, Facebook has alienated me and my friends and family are just plain sick of it too! I'm in some kind of 914 exile. I'm driving the 914 alone to see Patrick Motorsports tomorrow. I think having my car near all of that greatness will humble me a great deal. Thanks for the intervention! |

Thanks for the intervention! I don't know...I'm pretty sure your humility gene is recessive. The good news is that with all your excessive pontificating on how much fun you're having with your 914, you're a shoe-in for entry to the AssHat meetings. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |

QUOTE I'm driving the 914 alone to see Patrick Motorsports tomorrow. Has to throw in one final "zinger" before heading out the door to Phoenix. Don't worry Dean, we still (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) ya and we understand... even if "she" doesn't. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol3.gif) |

Spotted you in Yucaipa today, getting onto the 10. Clean car! Awesome... too bad I didn't see you I'd have pulled over and said hello! Yeah I stopped into grab a burger. I only made it to La Quinta today. I took some pictures of a very nice VW Bug Cabrio in Indio and then rebuilt my window winding mechanisms. They work much better now and the incessant rattling has gone away. I'm heading to see Jim tomorrow morning. It should be a great drive... oops sorry guys. I'll try to break down or something. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) I was in the acura/honda with a police officer behind me; you wouldn't have noticed me lol. What's funny is I was about to take my 914 but decided not to at the last minute. I was pretty excited to see another teener on the road, especially in yucaipa. |

The drive to Phoenix was awesome, the cars I saw were totally awesome. Jim is a really cool guy! That's the good news. The bad news is I think I sun-burnt my eyes driving directly west into a setting sun!... and then the rain hit. I hydroplaned all over the road for about and hour and a half which was not fun at all. Good thing I rebuilt the side window mechanisms because the targa seals finally worked and I didn't get wet in the torrent of water coming from the sky, which was like continuously driving under a waterfall. That wasn't fun. I was really thinking I was going to spin and hit someone. Luckily I didn't and the car ran like a top. Especially after Jim grabbed me a new air cleaner that wasn't tweaked and full of gunk. Still It was cold and I had no heat and my wipers blades are hard and like 25 years old. I know poor me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
