Yes, 914s don't like rain (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Awesome build (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) I like how the flares have a defined line joining the body, it looks better than the smoother radius in most installs in my opinion. Great blend of old an new. Now that you are hitting the track and AX the mods will just keep getting more expensive and the fun never stops. My 914 is evolving back into a better cruiser and I am doing the interior upgrades, stereo, etc. We'll see if the little 14lb racin battery can keep up w the Alpine and 6.5s going in there. I hope to squeeze 6x9s in too so I can ALWAYs hear the music. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welcome.png) |

I wanted them to be a little more round than stock but not much. I also really wanted to fill them with wheels and tires. The rear almost doesn't clear. I had to use a bat to roll it out a bit. I could use a little more bass in the stereo. I am thinking of getting a sub but I want it to be kind of hidden. Let me know how the 6x9's work out. |

So the "Points of Interest" feature on the GPS not really needed?

saw this and thought about your thread:
http://www.amazon.com/Alpine-KTP-445-Head-...6077&sr=8-1 seems like a good and inexpensive shot at getting more power to those JL's, which might give you a lil more thump from them. im guessing they're rated for 150 -200 watts? i bet they're starving for power dude ,just MHO |

How's your stereo coming? I do need a little more power so this will help, thanks! I am loving the Bluetooth audio streaming. I just get into the car and my playlists start playing. I don't even need to take my phone out of my pocket! No wires, no cd's... love it! |

I was all set to drive the Zombie at the California Festival of Speed until I received a final ruling that I do, in fact, have to install a roll bar or cage, 5 or 6 point harnesses, and a fire extinguisher before driving Zone 8 TTs. There's no time and so she'll be in the garage all next week instead. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) not happy. I'm still going, but I'm just not going to have the maximum amount of fun possible.
