hi, i am going to switch my 1.7l for a 2.0l with fuel inj. my question is : the guy that sold me the engine told me i could take my 1.7l air cleaner canister and put it on my 2.0l .
is he right ? on my 1.7 the air canister is round and what i see on 2.0l they are rectangular.

Makes me wonder what other bill of goods he sold you ..................

Of course you can't put it on there.

The good news there are plenty of good used ones for a 2 liter available out there. I have a couple myownself.
