Hi Carrie,

I am in for a cadmium plated looking complete set. Is the yellow zinc close to the cad plating?

Glad to see you back!

Hi Mike,

Answer is yes, but like always there is some variation.
Here's the thread where you can make your own decision: Cadmium plating-Yellow Zinc plating

Thanks Carrie - good information. I think the yellow zinc will be fine for my use!

Cheers!

I should have the first kit ready to go in Replica and SS by the middle of next week. It all depends on if Regionals will be held this weekend. If not, I'll be bagging.

Since this is a test run, I'll have a limited number of sets available. If it all goes well, I'll probably do a 2nd run of kit.

Carrie,
What kits will you have first? What's the price? Would be interested in a lock hardware kit if available.

General reply to all: I really don't want to spoil the surprise anymore than I have. I'm waiting on my other reviewer to get their sample and form thoughts about it.

If all goes well, I plan on having different reviewers for each kit. 1 for replica and 1 for stainless. The reviewers tell me what they think and if it works on the car.

Also, I need vic Volunteers to help develop kits for the -6's. The hardware is different and for the most part completely NLA on many areas of the car.

Cool (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

For your information, I have to get one piece reproduced for the Interior kit and a few more I don't have are NLA. They may be on my Dad's car, but don't hold me to it. If you want the plugs, I'll need to find some copies and have them reproduced.

What do you think an Engine Kit should contain?

Oh, I would think;

tin screws
heater tube screws
coil hold down screws (don't know real name)
Fuel injector nuts
engine to Trans nuts and bolts

I'm probably missing alot of things but the basic screws, nuts and bolts inside the engine bay.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) you let me know what your thinking and what your price is.

Thanks again Carrie!
