Rob,
What size and make tires on the rear? They fit the rims perfect. |

I may be able to space the front wheels out a bit. Maybe not. They do have to turn and not contact the fender flare... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Rears are 225-60-16, IIRC. I might have the aspect ratio wrong.
The front could probably use a 1/2" spacer. I have two 5mm spacers at the shop we can play with on Sat. If you want. |

Pretty sure they are 50 or 55 aspect ratio. I definitely want to move the track out a bit if we can. Not so much that I contact inner fenders or outer fenders... Anyone - and I mean ANYONE have any doubts who should install their fender flares on the West side of the country? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

This *may* be in my future as well... I'll need the extra rubber back there due to the beast Mark is building :-)

This *may* be in my future as well... I'll need the extra rubber back there due to the beast Mark is building :-) If you go back a few pages you find the video of my car after the new powerplant. Prior to this motor, the car was a frisky 'momentum' car. I barely ever used the brakes except to set the suspension for a corner and I just kept my foot in it all the time. On good R rated rubber I was barely able to control the car and I will have to relearn everything about driving it. The GT flares and big tires will help a lot. In fact, it may go back to being a 'momentum' car... I can't wait to take it to Thunderhill for a track-day! |

Thanks Jeff. Coming from you that is high praise indeed. I have always admired your cars and your work. I'm very glad you helped with the engine... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) |

I have 1" spacers in the front. It looks like it could use about an inch doesn't it? Attached image(s) |

I have 1" spacers in the front. It looks like it could use about an inch doesn't it? That's what I thought too... Until I put spacers on and drove it. It looked great! But... It changes the scrub radius quite a bit. The car did not handle as well and was much harder to steer. Make sure you drive it hard after you try the spacers. You will feel a dirrerence. |

You are bubbling all over yourself Rob, and for good reason - she's turning into one amazing car. I think you should drive it to WCR. Freakin' trailer queen. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) j/k Congrats!

BTW, I think I have a pair of 3/4" spacers if you want to try them. Good ones, not the crappy type.

I have 1" spacers in the front. It looks like it could use about an inch doesn't it? Here's mine. I'll pull this photo out later as not to dirty up your thread. I have 16" X8" fronts with 1" Spacers and 16" X9"s on the rear with like 1/4" spacers. |
