Technically, I would be the Stone Dodger since I was directly in front of your car on that windy mountain road. Jim (driving Rob's car) unfortunately is not a Stone Dodger... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

An update: The bodywork is done. One fender has a guide coat on it and has to be finish sanded but it will go into the paint booth this afternoon, then some time in the Easy Bake Oven then everything will get polished and I pick it up tomorrow afternoon... Oh, and it looks FINE!!!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Apparently "StoneHopper" doesn't fit since I didn't hop too well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) There was a time that "StonedHopper" might have fit? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) So how you getting your car to WCR? Need a driver? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) Jim . |

I registered to support the event but my Mother-in-law died a week ago and they are holding up the funeral until we can get there. Which in my case is May 31 through June 17th. Yopu may go any time now. Plus, Yopu's oldest is getting married the 12th of June and we have a grandchild we have only met on Skype so... No WCR for me this year. I think we need to bring it back to Tahoe soon... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Rob |

Thanks Jim... Yopu hasn't gone more than a couple hours without crying. They were quite close and would Skype at least once a day.
So, back to the car. I dropped by the body shop again after leaving DMV. I had a little problem reregistering it this year due to having, as it turned out 100 less miles than last year (Their clerical error) showing on the Odo. As it has Classic Plates, you have to have a mileage check each year. All straightened out now. Anyway, back to the body shop, the car was in the booth and they were masking. I am told again, paint tonight with curing over night and buffing tomorrow. Ready for me in the afternoon. Pictures will follow! |

Well, she's home... Kinda cute isn't she? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Big thanks to McMark and Original Customs. I'm told I would have had to pay for an additional 8 hours of labor in most cases. He welds G O O O D! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Attached image(s) |
