found the leak. Right below the battery, as suspected. I think my dad's taking a lookie underneath today or tomorrow. Thanks guys. I'm still a little (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) from smelling all that gas.

pulled the gas tank from the 74 and am taking it in to be tanked tomorrow...no stress here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
