Originally sold new at Johnson-Bozanni Porsche+Audi in Phoenix. Second owner. Since 1990 it has been garaged and driven once-a-week to maintain condition. Since it’s from AZ, absolutely no rust damage. Starts, idles and runs beautifully. Rides, corners, and stops great, shifts smoothly. Trim: Saturn Yellow L13M, black trim, polished gold PORSCHE trunk letters and 914 insignia, reverse black fat “PORSCHE” side decals. Paint is shiny in good condition with some small chips touched-up. Rubber trim, bumpers, and Targa top in good shape. Rare original “snow-catcher” rear valance. Beautiful polished aluminum alloy “Riviera” wheels, 3-eared chrome “tire slasher” centers with Porsche badge. Anti-theft lugs. Original trunk carpets like new. New wiper blades. Mechanical: 1.7 liter 4-cyl. engine with original D-Jetronic fuel-injection. 5-speed manual transmission. 4-wheel factory disc brakes. Air Conditioner (needs Freon upgrade). Fresh air, heater and defroster. New German braided fuel lines, fuel tank clean. New oil and fuel filters, and engine oil just changed. Low miles clutch plate and disk. Transmission gear oil just changed. Low miles brake pads, brakes bled and fluid just changed. Electrical: New battery, battery tray good. All electrical items function correctly. Headlight motors, all lights, all fans, wipers, fuse box, all gauges, horn good. Blaupunkt SCR 475 AM/FM Cassette. No speaker holes drilled in doors or body. Anti-theft kill switch. Interior: Original Cocoa basket weave interior and carpet , standard black dash. The seats, carpet and dash are worn and have some cuts. Because of material and color preferences these have not been repaired. The price is discounted to reflect this. Windows crank smoothly, doors open, close and lock with ease, trunk hinges and rollers are greased and work properly, longitudinals, rockers, jambs, hips, etc. are rust-free. Original steering wheel. Original undamaged door panels and trim, headliner in great shape. Black center cushion. Misc.: Original owner’s manual and Maintenance Records book with stamps, parts receipts, original jack and tools, extra filters and seals, car cover, Haynes manual. Things to note: Driver-side seat belt retractor spring must be repaired (safety). Michelin XZX 165SR15 tires have 95% tread but must be replaced due to age (safety). Air Conditioning compressor disconnected, system needs upgrade to R-134a Freon. Seats and carpet are clean and original but worn-out with cuts. Dash has a few cracks. Exterior window sweeps worn out. One small door ding on right front fender has been touched-up. Small oil drip. Some minor metal corrosion in battery hellhole from original owner, but stopped decades ago. Small scratch on windshield. Private seller. Clean title. Sold “As-is” no warranty expressed or implied. Pick-up in person or Buyer pays shipping. Cash or verified bank cashier’s check only.
