I just got to Santa Cruz and my dad and I would like to go to this on Friday. If anyone has any tickets available, I'd be willing to buy...otherwise, at the gate it is.

Go to searchtempest.com, put in your zip code and search for 'rennsport'. You'll get a lot of hits for SF Bay and Monterey Bay. Right now there's a guy in the Monterey Bay area selling two 3-day tickets plus a Blue parking pass (which I think is a Porsche only display area, but it's on dirt) for the princely sum of $250. If you don't care about parking, there are guys selling tix for cheap.

ok, moved my pics "mispost" to eric's san josey thread, where they have some actual context...

rennsport on saturday was so awesome. sun took awhile to come out but, we're only mildly sunburnt for it. been to historic events that featured porsche as the marque but this blew 'em away! i'm sure i'll wonder if it was all just a dream tomorrow...

mr. bell was kind enough to sign an autograph or two between promotional gigs for speed channel.

Just got back from Laguna Seca...WELL worth it to go. I got some cheap tickets so it was doubly worth it.

I doubt there are many get togethers with more Porsches. Wolfgang Porsche was there driving the original 550, Sienfeld's 550 prototype is also there.

The Porsche Museum sent over some great examples! Loved it!

I owe someone an apology.

When we were meeting up at the Beer Garden, I saw one of us walking around with a WCR T-Shirt, looking for us. I lost him in the crowd and don't know who it was and now I feel horrible! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Great event, well attended and organized. SCRAMP , PCNA, and PCA all deserve kudos for putting this together. I met several other members, and it was great to chat in person.

I did see the green GMC Palm Beach parked across the track from us, but it was too long a hike to get to. Looks just like mine back home! Nice to see other 914s enjoying these things.

Now, where can they organize Rennsport 5?

Might have been me (black WCR 2011 t-shirt), I was there looking around about 12:15 or so but never saw anyone I knew or any shirts or such.. I made a few laps thru the biergarten, the 16 cylinder 917, the 918 spyder, the new 911's and the 'baby 935. Eventually I got a beer and move on to other stuff.

I had a great weekend.

Jim, I really do feel bad. As soon as I saw your shirt, I went your direction, but there where just so many people. My fault, I should have said, 'Let's meet at the 914's'.

I really do feel awful about the whole thing.

Hey don't sweat it, there were a lot of people there.

I had a great time, although my feet still hurt.

Eric, I though Rennsport was every 3rd year?
