Well, since I am cheap and noticed that Pelican charges twice as much for a 914 torsion bar as for a 911 torsion bar, what are the differences? Splines? Length? Are there parts of the 911 suspension that could be used, short of an entire 911 suspension, that would allow the use of 911 torsion bars instead?

Any tips on sources for 914 bars? I was looking in the 21-22mm range.

Thanks in advance.

The splines are different.

You can use 911 a-arms on a 914 to allow use of the 911 bars.

Ah hell. I just talked to Pelican and they made a mistake. The price is per pair, not each as it says. This question is moot.

Thanks though. Maybe I should delete the post?
