Guys,
Still working on my brakes and seem to bounce between the front and back ones as time and parts permit. My question now is that the rebuilt front brakes I bought from my FLAPS not only had crappy mismatched pads, but they do not have "anti rotation locks" I think I left those things on the old set I turned in as cores.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) ... A few questions: what would cause the piston to rotate anyway ? do I really need them for my 1975 2.0L baby ? And if YES then where do I get a set ? Signed, Can't Stop |

I never ran a 4-cyl without the locators, but on the -6, the pistons
have the same cutouts and no locators are used. The pistons never rotate on me. |

Is that what those are? I wondered when I pulled my brakes apart what their exact purpose was. Why is it bad if the pistons rotate in the first place? I'm slightly confused (but whats new) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
