new seatbelts from seatbeltplanet are in. ive bought these before and they work well.

i do need to refurb my latch or get new ones or something. hmmmm.

914. floor has been lowered about 3/4 of an inch and seat is bolted to the floor. this works really well for tall people.

throttle cable is in and working

i got an amazingly nice set of headers from ben/mb911 but im having clearance issues with my vellios transmission/cvs and the shift rod. so for now im going to put on the old
b&b headers.

The B&B do not look like equal length headers. The B&B is also known for crappy heat.
I have Bens heat exchangers on my six with 915 gear box. Great heat and no fitment issues. Curious if its his new collector that is interfering with the CV's? I do not have any issues with the 1st gen collector that is flat, like the factory six heat exchangers.

me too. i just got the passenger seat in and forgot how well this works. its about 3.5 inches lower. and i have a thin/no pad that can give me another inch or so.

ive talked with ben about and we are going to try to lower them a little with a thicker flange.

but then i found i need to redo the shift rod too. that wont be a problem but im going to get it running and together as is before tackling new projects.

Still at it... Got some of the engine wired up and some sensors working. The engine has oil pressure and the computer sees it too!
