I also added a few fabric touches to the doors and the headliner.

Finally, I added a new shift boot with a blind bezel.

I was gifted a shift knob made by @worn which I adapted to my shifter shaft. The feel of the wood in my hand is just lovely!!

I also extended the seat recline handles to they are a bit more accessible.

Very cool. Lots of personal Style Points going on - which I love. I've been looking at 3D printers and it's just the sorts of parts you're making that are making it easy to think it's now a "need"! Keep up the great work! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

I've also been working in the background on my 3.6L "Upgrade" engine.

I built an OBX LSD for the transmission, will run ITBs (in theory) with Megasquirt.

I modified a pair of headers from Raptor Performance to fit with the new cradle.

I think I'll have issues with clearance of the trumpets to the decklid, so I'm designing an airbox that will use BMW E39 M5 trumpets (curved).

Its still very much a work in progress.

Finally, on my existing engine, I made a new more linear throttle pulley and cleaned up my conversion wiring.

I've also been fiddling around with some printed designs for webers for a 914 friend.

And this is how the car currently sits - waiting for wheels to come back from refinishing.

Excellent work Ross! I was just thinking about the deck lid clearance and the very next post you addressed this. Will the new trumpets be printed? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

No, I’ll use the M5 trumpets, bolted to a printed baseplate (in theory). For now I’ll get it running on a stand with the long trumpets.

Wow!! What a build. It is inspiring to see how trees in my yard are linked to such beauty. The fabric is perfect and the build is so great. Thanks.

SUPER interested in your header modifications - any more details you can post? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

I'm not there yet, but have been debating replacing the cradle that came with my 3.6 vs what headers (Outfront, Raptor) that I may be able to use, modify, etc. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

I’m afraid it’s pretty rough!

I took the headers and cut them off at the flange. I bought 1.5” 1D elbows from stainless bros and mocked them up by hanging the collector in the gap where it didn’t hit anything with the flange bolted to the head

Then I cut and test fit each runner one by one.
