Finding out from AA at the moment. I will advise all when I hear from them.
They are replenishing their stock so I would imagine their manufacturer is making ours and the AA stock. |

AA says that they are waiting for their manufacturer to finish up the order. Be aware that they are also making a stock order for AA. Those six that have received theirs already had them shipped from AA stock.
AA anticipates receiving them in about two weeks and will quickly turn them around upon receipt. I'll keep everyone informed if the situation changes. Dave |

question on storage of flares. Are they treated with anything or will they eventually start to rust? It may be a while before I am ready to install them. I don't want to stick them on the shelf and year or two from now open them up and find them all rusty.

Rockers are all in paint at the manufacturer and will be sent to AA on Monday. AA will turn them around asap to all of us when they arrive.
Sorry for the delay guys but I'm just the messenger. Dave |

I got my set and even thought they are not a perfect fit on my car with out some fitting they are the same length to fit my car. The set that I got from Getty had one shorter by 1.5 inches when you put then next to each other. Overall I am very happy with the job from AA on them. Bob Burton |

This question is not group buy related it is flare related. I cant contact the people in the know but I'm putting phone dials on and on rear I have a choice of 16 x 8 early or late offset. The late offset pushes rim 52 mm to the outside giving a deeper look to the phone dial . The early offset pushes rim to the inside, I hope by choosing late offset I'm not screwing up and with adapter I hope it fits right with the flares. Sorry to bring non payment stuff to the forum. If any body knows let me know. Phil, I believe I am correct in my understanding. If you want a deeper look the earlier lower offset is the wheel you want. That means the mount surface of the wheel is closer to the center of the wheel, pushing the wheel toward the outside of the car. The later offset is higher moving the mounting surface further from center and pushing the wheel toward the inside more. This calculator can visually show you http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp Does any one know if a 911 oil tank will work on my 914/6 conversion ?? |
