Decided to enlarge radiator exit holes in my wheel wells and add some bracing.
While I am at it started replacing the damaged front trunk floor. Sorry for pic quality. This repair attempt happened sometime in the car's past and I just ignored it. Cut out the bad and made a big hole. Got a patch panel from Restoration Design and could not be happier with the quality and fit. Slowly getting there David |

it is air to water so the heat exchanger will be placed in the rear next to the engine with 3/4 inch water lines running to the front

Took both for a ride today- nearly perfect AZ winter weather. Taking the '71 to a local C&C tomorrow in Scottsdale at a Porsche themed coffee shop named Four till four ( get it? 356)...

Scott at 914 Rubber called to give me an update on the tan upholstery order for the '71 ('HOWARD') (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif)
Also, took delivery of a nice NOS luggage rack that I purchased from Rex (914runnow) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ... and received set of NGK spark plugs for the Tacoma (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

Elvira is still in the paint shop, so I took my other car out for a drive with some friends. |

Going for a different look in 2019 on my SIX. If all goes well I should have my wheels powder coated in a few weeks. Then paint an extra set of side mirrors. Yesterday I added my black bumpers plus amber lenses. Later on I plan to go back to Fuchs...now enjoying Boxster wheels with 255/40/17 on all corners.

I just ordered a pair of nice repro Hella 128 fog lights from SMC to replace the old rusty broken ones on the 911.
Here the are (regular price is $396., but they're on sale for $258. through 1/15/19) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) https://sierramadrecollection.com/128-Fog-L...-68-p24025.html |
