Alright what are you up to now Oscar! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) ...... Paul (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_bump.gif) Paul- In reality I don't currently have the $$$ to fully restore this original 914-6 to the level we see on this forum. SOMEDAY (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) So for now I'm adding some make up, nothing permanent. Just playing around. Oscar |

Removed old seat rail brackets and preparing to weld in my new ones from RD. Three of them had rusted through the sides.

The rear trunk lid has been painted. Waiting for the paint to harden, then color sanding.
I am going to wait for a while to decide if I want to add a spoiler again. Attached image(s) |

While I'm in there . . . . .
Replaced the sagging rear trunk shocks with new ones. (I wish I had more 944 parts on Elvira. They are much more affordable than the 911 bits and pieces.) Attached image(s) |

Saw the mistake on my GT engine grill. Laughed at myself. Now I'm going to have to fuck it up better somehow. Maybe porch.

While I'm in there . . . . . Can't you 'retrofit' some of those expensive 911 'bits' with 924/944 'bits', John?Replaced the sagging rear trunk shocks with new ones. (I wish I had more 944 parts on Elvira. They are much more affordable than the 911 bits and pieces.) Elvira looks nice without the spoiler. I took the Corvette wing off of the 'BB' for a while, and it looked better ... but I was too much of a CSOB to have the holes welded up and new paint, so I put it back on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |
