I had the passenger seat recovered. I also had them add a slot for the 5 point harness sub strap. |

My '71 started running erratically a couple weeks ago and then would barely start- realized I hadn't changed the fuel filter in a LONG time (hate to guess how long since I really don't drive it regularly enough) so popped in a new filter this morning, taking a break from my '72 911 restoration project.
Started right up... so now it needs a nice long drive in the desert! (concerning the post just above- my '71 was turbocharged for a few years back in the late 70's- ran a custom system with water-injection and side draft carb a good Porsche mechanic friend of mine designed) |

On Saturday I took my LS1V8 car to a friends Dyno/ tuning shop to find out I have a faulty ECU. Car starts fine however it starves for fuel once started. Tried adjusting and tuning ECU to no avail. I purchased replacement ECU for $80.
Just maybe I can get this one on the road this coming weekend..car is pretty much ready, then off for a respray (Guards Red). That Cadillac CTS-V model in the background showed up with 490HP to the rear wheels, tuned to 588HP and got to 717HP with ethonol. OMG Once fixed, I'm only hoping for a reliable 300-350HP (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Oscar |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) How’s it run, Jim? Are you happy with the dizz? Dizzy is really good, and I previously used the Mallory Unilite, which is good. I highly recommend the 1-2-3; well worth the investment.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And as a bonus, the rotor and cap are replaceable from your flaps... |
