Then I started getting the wire loom ready for heat shrink The only part of the car thats done is the engine. It's 3 separate looms that need attention. Need to get some heat shrink tomorrow.

On Saturday I took my LS1V8 car to a friends Dyno/ tuning shop to find out I have a faulty ECU. Car starts fine however it starves for fuel once started. Tried adjusting and tuning ECU to no avail. I purchased replacement ECU for $80. Just maybe I can get this one on the road this coming weekend..car is pretty much ready, then off for a respray (Guards Red). That Cadillac CTS-V model in the background showed up with 490HP to the rear wheels, tuned to 588HP and got to 717HP with ethonol. OMG Once fixed, I'm only hoping for a reliable 300-350HP (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Oscar yehey! Finally u got some time for the LS1 car. It’s been seating for months since u got the car! |

@cali914 currently he has a 901 in it but I've been (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) him to put in the boxster S setup he has in it before he blows up the 901.
Meanwhile I packed mine in a little tighter with more spare parts, maybe someday it'll run. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

dropped by Dylan’s (Chi-town) place this morning, picked up a complete set of 1.8 Ljet system for future use. Didn’t know until the other day that Dylan is just around 2 miles away from my place.
Still many parts he is selling for a very good price. |

Playing with the wires, going through straighting out all the groups and preparing them for heat shrink. Looking for a black wire with a purple strip.

Trouble shooting the wires this morning. Found some "Duh' stuff. The tach was not working and I had turn signal lights but not flashing. I was on the look out for the Black wire with the purple stripe. What I found was that I had brought the tach signal to a bus bar but used it to ground out the flasher. The tach signal is not the signal that the flasher was looking for.

Continued rebuild on right carb - sat for 12 years with old gas - a royal mess - one of the worst I've ever seen......hope to finish tomorrow.
Left carb already done. Strangely, it wasn't too bad. Was on level floor too..... GN |

Drove it the first time since winter hibernation. 67* so the top was stowed in the trunk. Even got a thumbs up.
