Literati914,
The muffler is a Leistritz that I had a shop fab 2.5 inch pipes. The engine is just a 2.0. |

Great success! Converted to electric washer pump, followed the article on here and works great!
Waiting on LED gauge bulbs from 914rubber Next up are the big winter projects: Suspension and Brake refresh. Weltmesiter 100lb springs on the way to hopefully pick up the sagging ass, rubber and whatever else I need to get it to stop riding like a 17 year olds poorly lowered Honda, lol |

Changed the oil last night and diagnosed a noise that was getting progressively worse. Turned out to be loose spark plug. Might be a Time Sert in my future

so im at #OKEETENERFEST2019 i didn't do anything to it, but nature did; NOT ONLY did the drivers side engine lid hinge break (horrible weld that it had), but I ALSO got locked out of the truck, with the top in it, damn electric trunk release decided to take a cr@p (forecast doesn't look too promising, although )it has held up)

Drove it for well over 200 miles and for 4 1/2 hours on PCA 914-9/14 event - great drive, great people, great food, great fun.
Car did well, considering.....several adventurous events with the engine, but it kept going all day and never failed me. With Gen light on dimly much, but not all, the day, battery stayed charged at 12.4 volts & no electrical problems. Temp stayed in middle until very end of both out and back trips when approached red but never too close. Flaps, t-stat here, going in soon.... GN (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i890.photobucket.com-21449-1568510707.1.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i890.photobucket.com-21449-1568510713.2.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i890.photobucket.com-21449-1568510719.3.jpg) Sad I missed getting a pic of a whole parking lot full of nice Porsches from the First Settler's Region of the PCA at the restaurant where we met and ate. |
