Ordered my Schroth Harness for the driver seat, and paid hot_shoe914 for the harness bar. Both will hopefully show up by the end of the week and I can do the install on Saturday!

Car runs great, drove around a bit and micro adjusted the boost level right up to 15lbs then picked up Ollie from work. Cars going back into the garage for the night after it cools down. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) going to relax have a beer or two and watch the ball game....

Started scrubbing, cleaning, scraping, and trying to rinse out out the belly/floor pan area under the fuel tank so I can treat it with Ospho and paint it. I don't know if that particular spot on the car has a name, but it deserves one. What a freaking PITA. I'm going back in tomorrow with the wire wheel. Let the good times roll. I took the longest drive, to date, in my car. And on the return trip, I had to have my co-pilot drive her for a bit. She commented: "Mamma Like"

E-brake light. I don't have a good working lever, so it's not installed. I'm working on that, guess I should tape down the indicator. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Had to go in for an MRI on the guts this am (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
But wait ... later in the day, got the air filter all set up on the blast cabinet and installed a rheostat for the reclaimer (this vacuum is designed for a much larger cabinet and at full sucking power, I couldn't even move the gloves) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ... it was like they were on an extra dose of Viagra Started taking the tin off my wife's engine and tested the blaster with a couple of her tin parts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Found a rare part on her engine ... one of those elusive NLA plastic plugs on the bell housing in front of the flywheel (021 101 109). Wondering if there's enough need for these to be reproduced by 914Rubber.com? |
