Masked up the engine grill for a new respray. Did not realized how much it needed a respray! Looks New!

Washed it along with the rest of the aging fleet.

Man, iPhone and pic orientation dont work well on this site. The first pic showed up like below, so I moved the original 90* and it still came out the same way. It just wants to do what it wants. Just chalk it up to sticky tires.

I get to practice my ship in a bottle skills. Replacing my FI harness with a brand new set from Jeff Bowsley. Also replacing temperature head sensor and throttle gasket too.

I lot to remove and document before removing. Replacing my hoses which I am in a tear down. I found removing the trunk lid and engine hood makes the job much easier.

Fingers crossed and hoping everything goes back correctly.

Removed and inspected spark plugs. Looked a little to white/lean to me, so went from 145 to 150 main jets. Step in the right direction. Car was running well, now better, I can't keep my foot out of it.

I just looove dual Dellortos (and yes, I use the much maligned hex bar linkage and love it too).

Finally got around to installing 10mm front wheel spacers. Thought I might need longer studs, but Keith (914 Toy) thought I still had sufficient room left on the current studs
Pictures show the driver side with the 10mm spacer and the passenger side without the spacer.
Other shots show the 5 lug billet hubs attached to SC rotors. Studs seem to be 73 mm long. The lugs are on with 6 1/2 full turns each

OK these aren't Porsches, but FCA had a big concours here in Scottsdale yesterday and had to go see... early morning set up with some nice cars including David MacNeil's F40, one of my favourite cars of all time. (Good money in floor mats!!!)

Today I got the '73 off the top of the lift and am taking to a local cars and coffee tomorrow AMAttached Image Attached Image
