@double-a could you post a couple pics of your driving lights with the lights turned off please? Looks like a good solution for keeping a more stock look and yet getting LED lighting. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

@double-a - i have Pilots as well - but ended up going with a slight blue/daylight incandescent lamp to match with my 914 Rubber LED headlights. I've always liked the yellow fogs tho - just couldn't find a good LED that fit the Pilots.

@Cairo94507 - the Pilots are getting hard to find, I think. Maybe they're no longer being made? I know Camp914 used to stock them but not sure about that currently. They do occasionally pop up FS here and on ebay, etc. They're great lights - stock look.

here ya go, they look pretty stock to me. the LEDs replaced my PIAA plasma ion H3s (which are fantastic btw) at maybe 1/4 the wattage and at least 2x the brightness.

i should mention that i needed to modify the back shell of the pilot lights somewhat. the LED bulb is like 1/16" too long, preventing the trim ring to fully clamp the lens and shell together. i solved this by tapping a rounded bump on the inside with a ball peen hammer. this gave enough clearance for the bulb (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

holy crap!!! that great!! wow lots of garage space there, and sought space for. some big 914 gathering and still social distance (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Thanks, guys ... I'm pretty excited. There were multiple offers on the place so we put an escalation clause in the offer, and fortunately we only went $500. over our original offer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) ... (I really wanted this place)

Yeah, Phil, I hope to host a Rt-66 Event some day ... plenty of parking - even for those who choose to trailer out this way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Mike, luckily, some other good friends also purchased a home in the same community here last month, and they have 3 young kids ... their 2 boys have already applied for the yard mowing job (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ... (they have a riding mower and it's only 3-minutes travel time to get over here) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

Some other close friends purchased a home in the same community almost 5 years ago, and they're a short walk away. The wives have offered to come stay with my wife as needed, as they are both stay-at-home moms (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif)

We've truly been blessed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

You could always pave over most of that yard and build an even bigger garage!

Installed one on Tony’s ( @Retroracer ) GT oil gauges on #58. Fuel gauge to be relocated to the ash tray gauge pod. Now the question is Can I live without his 10k tach!

@markhoward - No, you CAN'T! Given what Tony @RetroRacer builds (never mind designs! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) ), we simply MUST keep him focused on 914-related stuff! Send him more money!!!

Plus, 58 more than deserves it... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

I started last January. My father and I picked it up 16 years ago. I basically replaced the lower three inches of car... Doors and roof fit nice. Car was rough...
