A few weeks back I got the 2 ltr Fuchs back from the metal polisher. I had this set on the shelf and someone previously had fully polished 3 of the 4 wheels already. I prefer the stock look but what the heck. They are not original to the car anyway. They replaced a set of AR wheels with 25 year old tires on them.

Now, if I just finish up the fuel system redo and get this thing running right so I can actually drive it!

Just bought another one! The 1975 914 will be my "stocker" when I'm not driving my 1973 Suby-powered beast.

I mounted the fresh rechromed front bumper to the 914. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

@mikey63 Mike - those look great. Love, love love the way you're carrying your design theme throughout the car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

For anyone who hasn't seen this car, it's got a bunch of subtle (and some not so subtle!) mods that are quite unique and fit together really well. I happily confess that I'll be copying a couple of Mike's ideas on my build.

We should all give Mike a hard time and bother him until he posts up some pics of his beauty. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

Thanks Chris.
That means a lot coming from you and your build quality!

Got my new 914 on the scissors lift today and started looking at the rusted hulk from the underside. Doesn't look good, but I'm confident the guys/gals here can help.

Ben’s exhaust arrived and gave it a polish. Waiting on head studs for complete stainless headers and muffler exhaust.

Hello Frank, Took the 914 out for a spin today between rain showers. I'm also in Wiesbaden. I work for the U.S. Army over here in Germany. Give me a ring or WhatsApp. 0162-2960184. Roger

Interesting - Nissan motor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) What's the specs on it?

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

It's a 3.0 liter Nissan V6 that puts out a mild 170 HP. Loads of fun to drive and I've hit 132 MPH at 5500 RPM on the autobahn here in Germany. Building another 914 right now with an LS3 and Boxster S 6 speed.

I started to replace all the brake components. Taking things apart is always the easy part. I can't get the larger back race to seat all the way in the new rotor. I don't have anything that will cut the old race as Ian does in his video. 2 hours of messing with it, one smashed finger, and I've given up for the day. But hey, fun was had.

Installing new Speedhut gauges. Thanks @jrust for the suggestion.
Lot of wiring still to do.

Use your gauge mount for a template & just cut a plate to size. Then cut the smaller holes you need for the smaller gauges

Received 4 of these from Fuchs Restoration. I dropped them off November 4th. They were back in my garage yesterday.
