This morning, Abe and I was able to visit sir Oscar and even I visited his place few times already, you will amaze everytime you visit. There will always something new (new car, something done with cars and done with his house).

Thank you for the generous items we got from the zoom meeting we had last December.

Cleaned up a trailing arm and brake sheetmetal and got some rust encapsulator on them. Not quite up to powder coat standards but a major improvement. Ready for new bushings and bearing. Then on to the other side.

Wow, looks like a nice sunny day for this time of year, and love that green! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Toes down on the skis will reduce drag! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) Good luck, and have a safe trip.

You should cover all the bases and put the surfboard between the skis!

your probably right about that, and also i think for a long drive, flip them aroudn with tips in back, but iall the pictures i see of them mounted have them facing forward.
- there is a clearance issue with them face up like they are not the stops stick out too far and touch the top, so i had to move them back, so for the trip down i will probably flip them over and backward.

Sunday we drove both 914s to the park to go for a walk. Then we went out to eat with @scottthephotog and K.T. It's fun hitting a small patch of ice while trying to accelerate. The tires bark loudly when the leave the ice and hook back up to the pavement.

Yesterday we drove the 4.0 to meet with the buyer of my Dad's 1927 Chevy.

Lots going on but finally epoxy primed my only narrow-bodied 914. Will apply paint next week. (Orange)

I recently purchased this Subaru EZ30 SIX from a local socal member.
The plan is a light face lift, new interior and ENJOY. Very solid car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

A bit later this spring swapping to 5 lug conversion since I already have all components and wheels.
