in addition to putting the carpet in today http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=358776, I also installed the front glass and the chrome trim. I had installed glass before but it turned out to be all scratched up so, I grabbed a new one and replaced it today. Fortunately, the butyl came out pretty easy.

Said goodbye (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) to two, and welcomed a new one.

Thankful, humbled and honored to keep this one in SoCal.

@ValcoOscar - Congratulations on the absolutely beautiful car. If that was Greg's, he definitely put together a terrific car; it has all the right parts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

It looks like Greg’s car. The car was professionally built by PMS.

Changed oil and filter, topped up transaxle oil, adjusted clutch cable, and gave underside a general inspection and cleaning. Also reattached the rear valance. Wife says keeping that pretty muffler partially hidden is a nice tease…

Speaking of the new muffler, I’m finally getting used to the sound of it. Compared to the original 2L muffler, this one is just as Ben described it—a little louder, but significantly lower tone. Exhaust sounds a little more cammy/lopey at idle too. Car also seems to accelerate a little more quickly, especially from 2800 rpm on up. Nice.

@andressj - Your car looks real nice; I believe they all need a rear valance to finish them off. That muffler looks perfect. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
