And once I got the speedometer back together and installed, spent the next 2 hours under the dash trying to figure out what the 30 yr old me had done with some of the wiring. Lots of loose connector ends just hanging there, I think from an extra gauge set I had installed at one point.

Lastly, pulled the trip odometer reset cable, it has bound up for years. Broke it trying to get free it up, so guess a WTB in the classifieds is up next.

Went to Kent in Temecula picked up a tranny for my cousin (Live in Martinez, CA) after an overnight stay with family friends in Carlsbad.
Forgot to take pic of us with Kent and his 3 beautiful 914s! Wow that 75/76 white project is so clean and solid!

Having spent 70 years in Iowa, I don't miss those days! And I remember many of those days, driving from Road America back to Iowa on a late Sunday afternoon in either my or my dad's 914... a little later we did enjoy the AC in his 944!!
You just need to take the 928 out on those days... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Messing with some wires for the fan box.

Attached Image

Once we have the circuit board up and running I would like to take the atmospheric pressure sensor and mount it under the bottom of the fan box and see if it really makes a difference in the air pressure under the car at speed.

Finished priming, painting, and clear-coating the area under the roll bar. Gonna pull the tape off tomorrow and take her for a spin.

Don't know why I keep trying to take pictures in the dark. More of the wire organization in the fab box. Even though I know you won't be able to see it.

It came out better than I thought.
