Cleaning the garage and moving around the five NOS rims and two Al Reed sets of restored rims… I was fortunate to have Al do the magnesium rims just before he retired.

These rims are marked for three separate builds.

Last Tuesday we finally got my shifter problems sorted. We ended up going back to a stock side-shifter rear console with the single bronze bushing. We then modified the rear shift rod to have a very slight bend in the last 8" so it aligns perfectly with the console and bushing. My car now shifts like butter. It is so so so very nice to not have to muscle the shifter to get the gears. I still have the Weltmeister short-shifter installed with no issues.

Then I discovered I couldn't turn the heat off on the passenger side. A quick check confirmed when we re-installed the heat exchangers after the valve adjustment the flapper was pushed on a bit to far, preventing the valve from shutting the heat off. Pulled it off and cleaned it just because then reinstalled it and pulled it back 1/4" from where it was and now it works properly. Checked the driver's side too but it was fine.

Now my brother will stop claiming I am trying to roast him at 375 degrees. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Drove it for about 100 miles a few days ago. Third time I've seen "44444" roll up...

My sweetheart in restoration body shop for repaint back to original Malaga Red - can't wait! Sometime in Jan.

Sails will be painted, not covered in black vinyl......

Hey Everyone, I have procrastinated like a Pro with all kinds of excuses....this past year I have been trying to make time and get back at it...too many hobbies!

So, brakes are installed with Rotors and Pads all the way around. I checked that all of my new lines were good and tight and have just begun filling with fluid!

Once I bleed them, I will tidy up my fuel lines in the front and get the tank back in.

Getting Closer!

Got her, and an '85 Alfa spider in the shop after having a new concrete floor poured a couple weeks ago. It was tough seeing both of them under 24" of snow that we had dumped on us 10 days ago.

Installed the new air filter assemblies with fresh, newly oiled filters and new velocity stacks. The bases on these assemblies are thicker, so I had to add longer studs for the stacks. Everything is buttoned up and the car is purring.............

Also continued to drill out holes in Doug's aluminum rocker panels, so that I can either get them to powder coat or paint myself. Now I'm headed to HF to pick up a hammer & dolley set to start addressing some small dents in the targa bright work.

Finished up the new bases for the new plenums and put them in place, not installed. I like the new proportions and they should finish out as nice as the air box.

It's going to make one badass engine bay picture.
